| Pattaya, Phuket and Koh Samui I agree are so commercial, but why do so many people go there ? Guess that is what they want, such a shame asThailand has so many beautiful beaches, islands, towns and things to see and do. Shame !

| If you want the driest beaches in Thailand with the best summer weather then try the beaches near Bangkok along the Sunrise Coast, Hua Hin, Pranburi, Ban Krut and Bang Saphan. The Hua Hin area has the best summer weather in Thailand. Yes, even Pattaya is more Thai than Phuket these days !!!!

| Koh Samui is very busy in July and August becuase Koh Samui has good weather in both July and August and is a popular Thai destination at that time of the year in the Summer . Koh Samui hotels and beach resorts are good value for money during the summer in Thailand. .....http://www.patong-beach-hotels.com/.....has very cheap hotel rates for Phuket in the summer season including those in Patong Phuket, Karon beach, Kata beach Phuket and resorts and hotels in Phuket at the other beaches, amazing bargains. There are very cheap prices for Phuket hotels in the Summer in Thailand but Phuket is now like the Costa del Sol of Spain or Surfers Paradise in Australia, try somewhwere better in Thailand, so many nicer places.

| For the best weather in Thailand in the Summer in July, August and September the beaches and islands in the Gulf of Thailand area have the best weather and least rainfall for islands and beaches. Koh Samui is very busy in the summer in particular in July and August because Koh Samui has good Summer weather in both July and August and is a popular Thai destination at that time of the year. The best Summer weather in Thailand is in Koh Tao, Koh Phangan and Koh Samui.
