A key activity for attendees at the 1997 Academy of Management annual meetings in Boston in August will be the approved Caucus on "Strategic Management in the Asia Pacific" at the Academy of Management annual meetings in Boston.Caucuses are a convenient, informal way for Academy members with shared interests to find one another and to develop a sense of community within the larger Academy structure. A Caucus is formally defined as a group of Academy members who share a topical interest, a professional concern, or some other affinity. A complete listing of 97 Caucuses and their organizers will be printed in the Academy Program. In Boston, each Caucus will be provided a separate meeting space and are tentatively scheduled to meet in convention ballrooms on Monday, August 11 from 630pm to 800pm.
