Singapore's Future? - Elsewhere..
For many years Singapore's forward looking legislators have been encouraging Singapore business to extend their interests abroad. Now it is more important than ever... A country with a population of only 4 million, prosperous as they are, can only support a limited amount of local business. And Singapore sits increasingly uncomfortably as a small rich man surrounded by a mass of those "less fortunate". History shows that is not a good place to be. And business can help Singapore become a good regional and global citizen at the same time as gaining financially from a global view. See for example, They're small Malay/Muslim firms, but they think big from Singapore's Straits Times. Just a few quick case studies, but important to Singapore's future...
