Play Misty for me Khun Tom

Bumped into old mate of the APMF Tom Parker Parham over a late afternoon feed of cajun delicacies in the popular APMF regular's Bangkok hangout - Bourbon Street Restaurant in Soi 22 Sukhumvit.

Seems he's taking a short break from his sister city negotiations between Thai and US cities and export/import trading consulting and is now the late night jock on Bangkok's English language FM 105, spinning love song discs to his audience of 98% females. Tune in from 8:30 to the witching hour every night to hear Tom's smooth intonations and request a love song. So far Tom has only been subject to a few DJ stalking episodes.

Tom's playlist focuses on the demographics for the wireless station recently acquired by the sometimes very smart Richard Branson. World English pop, 70's to contemporary adult popular soft and easy stuff with the emphasis on love songs. "...Love songs are universal - even if you don't speak the language you get the feeling...", says Tom...

Penned by the Chao Phraya River Rat from Bangkok Thailand at 10:12 PM
