Management Decision is an international, refereed, UK-based journal published for over two decades. It has an audience of top managers and academics interested in application of management theory. We received an overwhelming response to our call for papers for the issue on Strategic Management in the Asia Pacific. The issue is now completed: Titles and abstracts of articles, full-text articles as well as authors' names and bios for this highly-acclaimed and successful issue may be accessed here. This issue concentrates on concerns of investors to the region. Because we received so many high-quality articles from the region, we now have a sequel issue, Strategic Management in the Asia Pacific#2: Perspectives from the Region, to incorporate them. The articles are of the same standard as those in the first issue but focus on a great regional concern -- whether local stakeholders can compete against foreign MNCs and other investors. Articles cover countries and regions of strategic and geopolitical significance including specifically South and Southeast Asia, East Asia, India, Taiwan, and Vietnam. Titles and abstracts of articles for the sequel issue, full-text articles, as well as authors' names and bios, may be accessed here. As with the other articles for Management Decision, articles in this sequel special issue emphasize applications of theories and concepts that managers and policy makers may use and find relevant, challenges to conventional and theoretical wisdom, and counterintuitive findings.
