From August 2003, the Asia Pacific Management Forum and Asia Market Research dot Com will be launching new sections highlighting original scholarly research and business articles. Please note this section is targeted to professionals and researchers. No advertorial will be accepted. Links will be provided to the author's contact details.

Reviewer Criteria: Papers are reviewed on the basis of:

  • Original research contribution to the field (Empirical Research articles only)
  • Review of an area with useful recommendations and implications for managers and strategists (Review Articles)
  • Relevance to APMF and Asia Market Research dot Com readers
  • Validity and reliability of research methodology

Papers are welcome in the following broad themes (in no particular order)

  1. Market Research in the Asia Pacific
  2. Organizational Development in Asia
  3. Asia Pacific market and business strategy
  4. Macro-Economics and Business Strategy
  5. Public and Corporate governance
  6. Branding in Asia
  7. E-Commerce and Internet business in Asia
  8. An Asian approach to business and management

Styles may include:

  1. Case Studies of new management and business techniques in Asia-Pacific settings
  2. Original research on Asian business, marketing, economics, and finance with practical implications
  3. Journalistic or conceptual papers reviewing trends or positing new models for Asian business and management
Papers will be subject to review by the Editorial Board of the Asia Pacific Management Forum

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Abstracts can be submitted now for review via email, fax or email to the Kuala Lumpur APMF office. The proposal should include for each paper:

  1. Title of Paper
  2. Style of Paper - one of 3 categories (Case Study, Research, Conceptual)
  3. Theme of Paper - from one of the 8 categories above)
  4. Author(s) and Affiliation
  5. Abstract of paper (100 to 300 words)
  6. Contact email, fax and postal address
Papers should be submitted in electronic form only (MS Word Format or any format that can be successfully read by MS Word) to the Kuala Lumpur APMF office.

Papers should be between 3,000 to 5,000 words and with the addition of references, figures and tables should be no longer than 20 double spaced A4 pages.

Papers must be available to be published on the Asia Pacific Management Forum, and free of copyright restrictions.
