Information Professional Asia ceases publication
Following a review of the Asian Business Strategy & Street Intelligence Ezine after a change of ownership, it has been decided to cease publication of Information Professional Asia in order to allow us to focus more on other sections of the forum.
Part of the decision came about due to the increased quality of new and other Web sites for librarians and Asian librarians in particular. This forum launched in it's previous incarnation "Asian Libraries Forum" in 1995 specifically to address a perceived gap in information specifically for librarians and information specialists in Asia. After 5 years we feel that the gap has been well and truly filled by specialists who can do the job much better than us. Furthermore our limited resources have not allowed for the monthly updating required to keep this forum fresh.
However, the Asian Business Strategy & Street Intelligence Ezine and our two new Web sites, Asia Market Research dot Com and Branding Asia dot Com continue to provide the highest quality reference information, articles and guides for all information professionals charged with providing acess to information on Asian business, strategic management, market research and economics, politics and management in general. By saving on the time and resources required to maintain a forum specifically for the profession, there is more time for further enhancing the reference material available on other parts of the forum, which is our speciality.

Every week Emerald Intelligence + Full Text provides free access to the full text of two journals from their business management and professional research article database. Each week also, the editors of the APMF review some of the most relevant articles.
